Wales Festival of Seaweed

16th - 19th May 2024

St. Davids, Pembrokeshire

The first festival of Seaweed in Wales

Wales has an abundant and largely untapped natural resource all around our
coastline with immense potential to improve so many aspects of our day to day
lives. Some call it the superstar of the oceans and others the gold dust of the sea.

Wales Festival of Seaweed is a brand new opportunity for industry experts,
conservationists, politicians, investors, educators, fishers, farmers, foodies and
the wider community to come together to debate and discover the financial and
environmental benefits that seaweed has to offer our communities and country
as a whole. Learn all about and discuss this amazing marine algae, in a very
special corner of Wales where the purity of our waters and power of seaweed is
already being harnessed by a range of local businesses.
